Integral Life Coaching
Integral Coaching sessions and programs deal primarily with creating deep, meaningful, and lasting change and development, in the topic of your choice. Topics may include but are not limited to: Improving Personal Relationships, Seeking a Meaningful Career and Vocation, Managing Conflict, Meeting Health and Fitness Goals, and Getting Organized.
This work is particularly relevant for people who find themselves saying “I know what I want or need to do, but something keeps preventing me from being able to do it.” This indicates that the source of the issue is not merely a lack of technical knowledge, but a need to grow from one way of being to another. We do this by creating a Personalized Training Program, built around a topic of your choice. This coaching program not only plots powerful action steps, but envisions and builds new capacities, reflexes, and beliefs that support these positive changes.
Integral Coaching Programs can be scaled based on the time a person has available, and the depth of work they want support with. Single Session, 3 Month, 5 Month and 9 Month Coaching Programs are all available depending on a person's needs and availability. More information on these programs can be found here.
I offer free 20 minute Consults to any potential Coaching Client who would like to learn more.
Somatic Coaching
While I often weave Somatic work into Integral Coaching Programs, I offer it as a standalone service as well. As with all other Coaching that I offer, a Somatic session begins with the client choosing a topic to focus on, a place where they want to create change in their life.
This topic could be completely body based, such as pain or tension in a part of the body, postural issues, immobility etc. It could be partially related to the body, like trying to find the motivation to get in better shape or to feel more comfortable in their own skin, or it could be seemingly unrelated, - like an issue in a personal relationship or with their business. Regardless, all of these topics are experienced in and filtered through the Body itself, and so there are profound resources and opportunities for creating new patterns by working with the Body and Awareness.
The session itself consists of a brief conversation about the topic, after which I guide the client through different exercises involving sensing into their own bodies awareness, gentle movement practices, and exploration of how posture and breathing changes how they experience and relate to their topic. From there, we explore what new actions could support them moving forward, and how their Body’s intelligence can support them or guide them in how to proceed.
In practice, this process tends to feels natural and intuitive, with many clients expressing that as soon as we started, they knew exactly what to do, and how to do it.
This is an excellent and inexpensive option for people who want to initiate lasting and meaningful change in a short period of time.
Project Development Coaching
Project Coaching focuses on bringing a meaningful Project to fruition. We will use tools and systems of accountability to support you in Brainstorming, Designing project steps, Creating a realistic timeline, and Putting your plan into action.
These steps may all sound simple (and they can be,) but the art and strategy of this type of coaching is in how we dynamically steer to keep you on course with your project goals, even when the unexpected happens.
While these projects may be related to your Vocation, they may also be connected to your Living Situation (such as a big move or housing renovation) or an important relationship (such as planning a major event for a loved one.)
Relationship Coaching
Relationship Coaching is a group coaching process designed to support you in creating new habits and experiences in a meaningful relationship. Like individual coaching, group coaching is done around a topic of your choice.
I often meet with both partners together to develop insight into the current patterns of the relationship and envision how the relationship can grow so that both individuals and the relationship itself can thrive. I will also sometimes meet one on one with each partner, before coming back together to continue the work as a group.
In each session, and in guided practices between each meeting, we cultivate qualities like curiosity, playfulness, empathy, and courage that partners can draw on in challenging moments to help them grow closer together. This work is especially useful for people in a relationship who are going through a difficult transition, struggling to build trust, or want to regain the spark that brought them together.
